Day 19- NEW HABIT: Weekly Grocery Shopping

NEW HABIT: Shop weekly for groceries for the week ahead on Sundays

So far on Sunday, I’ve allowed myself to take a tea to bed with me and get up at 10:30am. There is a lot of stuff that may have to be scheduled in on Sundays like the garden and cleaning the car etc… but because the weekly shopping is the most important, I’m prioritising that for now and working around it. Because the shops shut at 4pm on Sundays, 3pm is my deadline. I tend to buy in the foods I need to make packed lunches but have been bad at planning dinners. There is nothing I hate more than having to pop out during the week for shopping. In order to be more organised and prevent repeat visits to the shops, I’ll also be creating a shopping stock list. I do this at work and it works really nicely. That will prevent me forgetting anything I need and buying something I already have. As part of this new habit, I will start constructing my stock list now. Eventually, I would like a more regular, routined meal plan and this is the way to start that.
